Can I join?

There are various checks to see if either of the LIVERAGE™ or LIVERAGE™ Cirrhosis Studies would be a good fit for you. For both of them, three key criteria are as follows:

• You are aged 18 years or older (and legally considered adult in your country).
• You have been diagnosed with MASH.
• Your body mass index (BMI) is 27 kg/m² or more (25 kg/m² or more for individuals of Asian ethnicity).

You can check your BMI using our BMI calculator. You will need to know your height and weight.

If this sounds like a match for you and you want to find out more, please find your nearest participating study site and get in touch. At the study site, you will discuss the studies in detail and find out whether you may be able to take part in one of them.

What is informed consent?

No tests or assessments will take place before you have agreed to and signed an Informed Consent Form. This document explains the study in detail, including potential risks and benefits, as well as your rights and responsibilities. You can take as much time as you need to read and understand this form.

Is taking part right for me?

Taking part in clinical research requires careful thought. Before you decide whether to participate, make sure that you understand any potential risks involved. There is no guarantee that you will benefit from taking part in either the LIVERAGE™ or LIVERAGE™ Cirrhosis Studies. However, you will receive in-depth, long-term monitoring of your liver health from experts in this field. Members of the study team will be happy to answer any questions you have to help you make an informed decision.

Do I have to take part?

Taking part is entirely your choice. If you choose not to participate in a study, it will not affect any future treatments you may need. If you do join one of the studies, you are free to leave at any time without penalty to your standard healthcare.

Will I have to pay for the study treatment?

There will be no charge for any study-related treatment or care. You may be reimbursed for your time and travel expenses. The study team can provide further information.
